Class: Rehab Your Core

For many women a busy lifestyle, poor posture, pregnancy, child birth, and aging can all lead to low back pain, pelvic floor instability, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and diastasis recti abdominis. If you experience any of these symptoms, it may be time to Rehab Your Core.

Rehab Your Core is a physiotherapy exercise prescription focusing on women’s health offered in a group setting. The class is currently running Wednesdays at @ 3:00PM (day and time is subject to change). In the class you will build towards restoring core strength and overall function. Throughout the process there is an emphasis on re-engaging deep core muscles which stabilize the spine and pelvic floor.

Rehab Your Core is unique from other fitness classes in that you will require an assessment by a physiotherapist who will ensure the program is appropriate for you, educate you on your specific strengths and weaknesses, and ensure that although you will be in a group setting, the Rehab Your Core class has modifications available to suit your specific needs.
